Trending Water? Having nothing whatsoever to do with the research capsuled above which is made from the best stufff on earth ... we observe that the friendly folks at Fios must have shipped some of their private stock of bottled water down to Arizona; otherwise, how do we explain that these survey results do not appear on the FCS website proper; rather, they appear on a site entitled "Electronic Discovery Survey Center" on the domain "www.ediscoverysurvey.com."
It will be interesting to see just how far this NPR/PBS-like sponsorship is going to go. Is everybody going to have two distinct websites -- a corporate site and an industry-themed portal? What, if anything, does this say about companies' perception of their visitors' perceptions of the validity of what is presented at their corporate sites? Or, are these simply attempts to create new communications channels to the target audience -- a kind of soft-core alternative?
So that we are not misunderstood, we don't think the alter-ego website phenomena is bad ... just curious and deserving of some additional cycles -- we'll get back to you on that ....
