Article III Groupie Launches "UTR" Blog ("Underneath Their Robes")

Where, where, where to start on this one? Let's simply start with Article III Groupie's own words ...
She describes herself as "a federal judicial starf***er" whose "goal in life is to become a federal judicial diva."
"This weblog, "Underneath Their Robes" ("UTR"), reflects Article III Groupie's interest in, and obsession with, the federal judiciary. UTR is a combination of People, US Weekly, Page Six, The National Enquirer, and Tigerbeat, focused not on vacuous movie stars or fatuous teen idols, but on federal judges. Article III judges are legal celebrities, the "rock stars" of the legal profession's upper echelons. This weblog is a source of news, gossip, and colorful commentary about these judicial superstars!"
On the one hand, we could probably get up a pretty good head of steam on a rant about how UTR is emblematic of the decline of Western civilization, the free-for-all offspring of the evisceration of broadcast and print journalism, cultural homogenization to the lowest common denominator -- well, you know that rant ....
On the other hand ... the site is an absolute hoot. Doubtless, many will find this blog shameless and offensive -- its hooks are unabashedly aimed at the prurient and schadenfreude; then again, anyone who knows the legal profession would not bet against this Blog being a runaway hit. Like The Drudge Report or Page Six, no one in polite society will admit that they read it ... but they all read it; just like no one we know has ever used Tivo to record anything other than The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer.
You can link to the site here and form your own opinion ... we're going to add it to our OPML and follow it for a while. It may be because it's been a long day, we're tired of the posturing we've encountered at every step along the way, and the social-leveling aspects of UTR are, at this moment, simply irresistible ... or, it could be because, just like the Supremes, we put our pants on one leg at a time ....
[Postscript ... 1) there is a better-than-even chance that the entire blog is a collegial send-up but we stick by our comments in any event; 2) we assume that the author is a female because, quite frankly, we would expect a gay male to have better color sensibility.]
