DH Blogs AO Innovation Summit
 

Denise Howell has arrived, bag and baggage, and is doing the Howard Cosell thang at the AO Innovation Summit. This post is ringside for the "fireside chat" among FCC Chair Michael Powell, Steve Jurvetson (Draper Fisher Jurvetson) and Larry Lessig (Stanford Law) ... no rope-a-dope here ... so, it's left jab vs. right hook and, guess what? they miss each other ... more is more, control stifles competition, agreement that the system is broken and we should toss it out ... but (seemingly) no penetrating discussion of what should replace it and it's hard to believe a shared vision would emerge from that exchange. If you're really interested, there are two more days of 'innovation' which are being webcast live. Program schedule and instructions at Always-on.
